Ingredients: 2 kg bone-in lamb (shoulder or leg), cut into large chunks; 2 liters water; 1 kg jameed (dried fermented yogurt), rehydrated (or 800g plain yogurt); 4 cups long-grain Basmati rice; 1/4 cup pine nuts; 1/4 cup blanched almonds; 2 large onions, thinly sliced; 3 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter); 1 tablespoon olive oil; 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon; 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom; 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric; 1 bay leaf; 1 cinnamon stick; Salt and black pepper to taste; 1/4 cup fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
